CM Security and Electrical partnered with Maddison Offices to secure and modernize the Latitude Building in Bradford. Initially tasked with securing the site during refurbishment, we provided 24-hour remote monitoring, rapid response patrols, and reinstated critical systems like fire alarms, CCTV, and access controls. Since the building’s reopening in 2024, we’ve continued to support its operations through planned and reactive maintenance, fire alarm servicing, and the installation of an advanced IP video intercom system.

Contract Objectives

• Site Security: Protecting the unoccupied building from vandalism and theft during refurbishment.
• System Restoration: Updating outdated fire detection, alarm, and access control systems.

Site Security:

24/7 Remote Monitoring: CM Security and Electrical implemented round-the-clock remote monitoring of the site to ensure its security during refurbishment.

Rapid Response Patrols: Deployed a mobile rapid-response team to perform regular security patrols and address incidents swiftly.

System Reinstatement: Restored and upgraded the building’s fire detection and alarm systems, door intercom systems, and CCTV to bring them up to modern standards.

Post-Renovation:

Planned and Reactive Maintenance: CM Security and Electrical has continued to provide scheduled inspections and responsive maintenance for all electrical and security systems, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants.

Fire Alarm Servicing: Ongoing, routine servicing of the fire alarm system to ensure it remains fully operational, compliant with safety regulations, and ready to protect tenants in the event of an emergency.



IP Video Intercom Installation: Designed and installed a new IP-based video intercom system. Each office space is equipped with a touchscreen unit, giving tenants secure and convenient access control for their visitors.
